El proyecto de jugar en realidad virtual al juego CATAN de Klaus Teuber se anunció en 2017. La compañía de vídeojuegos encargada del desarrollo es Experiment 7, con la participación de Asmodée Digital (El gigante francés posee los derechos del juego de mesa Catán en Norteamérica).

Pues ya disponible CATAN VR, en inglés, para Oculus de Google y Samsung Gear VR.
